A Buy It Now item or a fixed priced item is an item that has a fixed price and that can be added to the shopping cart. Sometimes these are refered to as

Using the green Add To Cart button will palce the item into your shopping cart, but it will not remove it from the market. Other customers can also add the same item to the cart and purchase it.
