Additional Notes: Rarer style that does not have the central markings as Plate IV in Le May's Coinage of Siam or Plate VII of Kneedler & Guehler's Studies of Old Siamese Coinage.

*XRF testing has provided the following metallurgical data;

Front: 70.6% Silver, 26.97% Copper, 2.43% Lead.

Back: 72.87% Silver, 24.80% Copper, 2.34% Lead.

It's not uncommon for the results to vary on simply made currency such as this. Alloys were not as homogenous as modern methods permit.
