Like the three previous issues containing sapphires, opals or diamonds, the 2010 coins are
struck in proof quality from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver
• The ‘locket’ in the new silver proof coin contains three granules of gold weighing a
minimum of 0.50g.

Both 2010 coins, which come in superb presentation packaging, are issued as legal tender
under the Australian Currency Act 1965.
There will be no more than 7,500 silver proof coins

Each coin is housed in a presentation case with a jarrah timber lid. The lid on the silver coin
case features a circular viewing window revealing the coin inside.
