From a personal point of view, I love this book, I loved the first edition also. It details every known variety of Sovereign, Half Sovereign and. It covers the history of the mints (UK, Australian, South African, Canadian and Indian). The reference numbers have been quickly adopted by most collectors and dealers in this area. Also included is a price and rarity guide.
