OPALPLUS HAS BEEN PURCHASER OF PERTH MINT COINS SINCE EARLY 1980s
IN AUGUST 2007 WE WERE APPROVED AS AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR PERTH MINT AUSTRALIA .
COINSPLUS NOW SPECILAIZES IN COINS
This 2010 $1 coin portrays Blackbeard, the archetypal blood-thirsty pirate whose ferocious reputation so terrified merchant crews that most simply surrendered wherever they encountered him. His infamous career, however, lasted less than two years. Hunted down by the Royal Navy, he was killed during his last stand in 1718.
Blackbeard Reverse Design
The aluminium bronze coin depicts Blackbeard, who tied smouldering hemp chords in his long black hair to heighten his devilish air. The design, which incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, includes a chest containing a coloured representation of pirate treasure.
Tuvalu Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu, the coin depicts the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the 2010 year-date on the obverse.
Presentation Card
A great gift for any budding young collector, the coin is housed on an illustrated presentation card.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a person is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on behalf of the bidder, incrementally increasing the bid up to the maximum to maintain their position as the highest bidder.
When there is an icon indicating 'Automatic Bid', it means our system is actively placing bids for the bidder based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if bidders are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the bidders maximum limit.
