Struck from aluminium bronze, each coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.
The coin’s obverse portrays the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the 2011 year-date.

The $1.60 stamp features a delightful baby dingo and is postmarked for the first day of issue. In addition, the envelope is endorsed with Australia Post’s Seal of Authenticity and official number.
