Two dolphins are portrayed on the coin’s reverse, jumping in unison forming the shape of a heart, with a colourful sunset as a backdrop. As a symbol of love, the dolphin represents the ideal qualities of friendship, loyalty, peace and harmony, with the ocean embodying depth of feeling and eternity. The heart is a universally recognised symbol of love and affection.
The design also includes The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.
Limited Mintage
The Perth Mint will release no more than 7,500 of these Forever Love 2013 1/2oz Silver Proof Coins.
Legal Tender
The coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination and the 2013 year-date. The coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of the Tuvalu.
