CoinsPlus parent company Opalplus has been Perth Mint Distributor since 2007
Perth Mint in Western Australia Minted over One Million Try Ounce Gold bullion last year and total sales of A$21.7 billion.
In opposition to each other, yet forming a perfectly balanced whole, the koi fish on this stunning 5oz silver coin represent yin yang in their mirrored movement and energy.
Key features:
Proof quality 99.99% pure silver
Symbolic yin yang design
Freshwater pearl inlays
Features the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Obverse
Happy and harmonious koi
Koi fish are revered for their beauty, serenity, and symbolic significance. Synonymous with harmony and happiness, they are often associated with the yin yang symbol in feng shui, representing opposing, yet balancing forces said to govern the cosmos.
Yin yang design
The coin portrays a yin yang symbol with black and polished teardrop-shaped halves, each featuring the image of a koi. The interdependence of the fish is represented by the seed of its rival in the form of a black freshwater pearl on the head of the polished koi, and a white freshwater pearl on the head of the black koi. Also included in the design is The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
Memorial Obverse
The coin bears The Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Obverse featuring the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy supplemented with the dates of Her Majesty’s reign. Also included are the coin’s weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2024 year-date.
Presentation packaging
Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the coin is housed in a black presentation case which comes in a superbly illustrated shipper.
