Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin's obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Limited Mintage

The Perth Mint will release no more than 10,000 of these Gilded Koala silver coins.

Each coin is housed in a black display case with a blue lid, accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Each case comes in an illustrated box shipper depicting a coloured image of two koalas.
