Additional Notes: This is a genuine error coin. The error lies at the bottom of the block on the leading foot where there is some extra metal. This is called a Cud error or die chip error. At some point during production the die that made this coin became damaged and this damage was transferred to all subsequent coins.
The dies that produced these coins were worked very hard as you can see from the mintages above. This meant they wore down and got damaged.
IMPORTANT
This is not the same as the 700+ "Rare Errors" on ebay. This is a genuine error/variety. There are errors on ebay, but not worth the thousands they claim. If you buy this for $2,000+ you will be overpaying.
Any coin gradings given above are in addition to the pictures. The pictures show you more detail than my words can tell you, so they are more important and the completing part of this description.
Please note that any customs fees and taxes are the to be paid by the buyer.
