OPALPLUS HAS BEEN PURCHASER OF PERTH MINT COINS SINCE EARLY 1980s
IN AUGUST 2007 WE WERE APPROVED AS AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR PERTH MINT AUSTRALIA .
This beautiful Celebrate Australia release is one of five 2011 $1 coins portraying stunning Australian landscapes and marine environments inscribed on the World Heritage List.
The Wet Tropics conservation area lies between Townsville and Cooktown on the northeast coast of Queensland and covers an expanse of 894,420 hectares. It has Australia’s greatest diversity of animals and plants within an area of just 0.26% of the continent. Many plant and animal species in the Wet Tropics are found nowhere else in the world.
Reverse Design
The coin’s coloured reverse represents the Wet Tropic’s spectacular landscape, featuring a waterfall and native Burrawang Palms. The design also includes the Indigenous southern cassowary, a large flightless bird related to the emu.
‘P’ Mintmark
The coin’s reverse also incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
Australian Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
Eye-Catching Presentation Card
The coin is housed on an eye-catching presentation card, which has a fold-out stand for upright display.

Waarom overbieden gebruikers zichzelf?
