For 160 million years, dinosaurs ruled the Earth. But 65 million years ago, most dinosaur species died out. From their fossilised remains we have deduced that there were many different types - some were huge, others tiny; there were fierce carnivores and placid herbivores.

This collection of four Dinosaur coins depicts dramatic images of Seismosaurus, Stegosaurus, Giganotosaurus and Dromaeosaurus.
Uncirculated Quality Bronze
Each 2002-dated coin is struck from aluminium bronze in uncirculated quality.
Issued as Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu, each coin depicts the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on its obverse.
Presentation Card
The coins come on individual rock-shaped coloured cards depicting a fossilised dinosaur skull.A description of the relevant dinosaur also appears on the cards.
